Hello and welcome to the family!
I’m Samantha - the Momma behind Micheals Dachshunds. Raising miniature dachshunds isn’t just a passion of mine, it’s a way of life. I find so much joy in pairing families with the perfect pup - one that will bring endless love, laughter and companionship for years to come.
I’m a lifelong animal lover, a bit of a genetics and nutrition nerd, and mom to an amazing 4 year old daughter. I’m supported every step of the way by my husband Micheal and a close-knit circle of family and friends who adore these pups as much as I do. We spend our days immersed in puppy love, outdoor adventures and a whole lot of cuddles. I believe mini dachshunds are the ultimate dog - their size, beauty and incredible temperament make them the perfect best friend.
Our dogs are raised on almost 2 acres in the countryside . They get to swim in the creek, snuggle on the couch, and are completely pampered. We can deliver your new puppy to any state in the US.

Personality is everything! We select only the most affectionate and loyal parents for our program. We have been told that our dachshunds have the most loving demeanors and they make incredible family pets.

Health is a top priority for each of our beloved dogs. We genetic test all of our parent dogs to ensure they produce healthy puppies. All Grateful Dachshund puppies go to their new homes microchipped, with first vaccinations, multiple dewormings completed and health approved by our trusted veterinarian.

Our puppies and parents receive love all day long from us and our friends. They are constantly with us, go on outdoor adventures and receive all the experience they will need to thrive in your home.

We carefully cultivate dogs with straight backs, long ears, beautiful eyes and that are stunning examples of purebred Dachshund perfection.

Our dachshunds receive premium food and treats. We free feed Fromm Gold Puppy and Adult food and supplement with high quality multi vitamins, probiotics, enzymes, salmon oil, farm fresh eggs and goat milk. We go above and beyond to ensure they are extremely healthy with the softest, most glossy coats.
